Day 25

Today we planned to go to Quezon City but then it was canceled because there was no van for us to use. So we only stayed in our room and waited until 3 o'clock in the afternoon for the closing ceremony.

It was 3 o'clock, we went to the alumni room where the ceremony took place. In that ceremony, we, the SEA-teachers performed. Mul, Dewi, and I sang Gebyar-Gebyar. It is one of the songs that tells about Indonesia. Amir and Ian presented a Javanese Poem. Ying, Dew, and Jam performed Thailand traditional dance. At the end of the ceremony, we received our certificate from Roosevelt and gave some souvenirs to Roosevelt and of course we took pictures. Here are the pictures:

After that we went to the teachers' office to eat together. After eating, Mrs. Mercado asked us for a walk. Mrs. Mercado and Mrs. Louisa brought us to SM Marikina Mall. In there we bought so many things. Me myself bought some t-shirts. After we bought everything we needed, we went back to the dorm.

Day 24

This day we went to the school hall to see the celebration of Buan Ng Wika handled by the elementary school. In that celebration, Dew, Ying, and Jam performed their traditional dance. After the celebration finished, we went to see Mrs. Mercado. Then, we went to the college to see their celebration of Buan Ng Wika. After the college celebration finished, we went to the teacher's office to have lunch together. After having lunch, we went back to our room.

Around 4 in the evening, Mrs. Louisa, Sir Angel, and Sir Russel asked us to go to Leonardo in Antipolo City. So we prepared ourself then go. Because of the traffic, we arrived in Leonardo around 5 in the evening. Leonardo is a very nice place. In there, we can see Manila from top. We had so much fun there. We took lot's of pictures, we had dinner together, we did karaoke together. So memorable. Thank you very much Mrs. Louisa, Sir Angel, and Sir Russel for bringing us there.

After having so much fun, we went back to the dorm around 10 at night. Here are some pictures for today:

Today my friends and I went to our resource teachers to collect data for our self-report. After that, we went to the school hall to watch students performance for the school celebration. The celebration starts around 9 in the morning and finished around 12 in the afternoon. Then we went back to our room.

In the evening, Dewi, Mul, and I went to Santa Lucia Mall to buy some bags. Then we went back home around 8 in the evening.

Today is holiday, so as usual we only stayed in the dorm doing some activities that we can do.

Sundaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy again goshhhh I really wanted to go to the church. I haven't gone to the church for almost 3 weeks :'( But I dunno where the church is and who I should go with. So, yes as usual I just stayed in the bedroom and did some random stuffs include eat, sleep, did the reports hafff-_-, etc.

Since today is weekend which means it is holiday, so I woke up a bit late. After woke up, Mul and I went to the kitchen to cook for our breakfast. While we were cooking, Dewi came and said that Mrs. Mercado asked us for a walk. She planned to bring us to Santa Lucia Mall around 02:30 PM. We said yes. After we cooked, we had our breakfast. After having breakfast, we washed the dishes and went back to our room. In the bedroom, I didn't know what to do so I just sit on my bed and listened to some songs. Not long after that I slept. I woke up around 01:30 PM and then I took a bath. After that I prepared myself. Around 03:00 PM Mrs. Mercado and her husband fetch us and then we went to the mall. We arrived in the mall around 03:30 PM and we went back home around 10:00 PM. So long ha? yes we spent lot's of time there for shopping. You guys know that girls love shopping, right? hehehe. Day 19

Today was my third day doing teaching practice in Roosevelt College. My class for today was grade 9 Mariveles at 10:15 AM until 11:15 AM but as usual, I had to attend classes at 07:00 AM because Amir had a class at that time.

Finally it was 10:15 AM so I went to the class. Today I expected that the students will do a presentation for each group since yesterday before leaving the class I had asked them to prepare a presentation about the elements of the story "The Summoning of Everyman" but in fact they didn't prepared their presentation. How come?! goshh!! So, I decided to explained and discussed about the elements of that story with the students. After an hour of teaching, finally it was 11:15 AM. Before leaving the class I divided the students into two groups and asked them to list imperative words as much as they can because the next material will be imperatives. After that, I went out of the class and directly went to my room. Not long after I arrived Mul came then I asked her to had lunch in McD. Then we went to the McD to had lunch. After lunch, we went back to school. In front of the school, we saw Iyan and sir Angel were eating squidball, kikyam, and kwek-kwek. Sir Angel asked us whether we wanted to have them or not then we said yes. He said just took what you want, I will pay. So we took what are our favorites and went back to our room. Not long after we arrived, Dewi came and said that Mrs. Mercado asked her whether or not we wanted to have teaching demonstration on Tuesday. Then she said that in the last week our schedule is doing reflections and making self-report to SEAMEO. So, it is better for us just took some data for our report. So the conclusion is there will be no teaching demonstration anymore for next week :)

After that, we continued doing our activities.
